Thank you!! I feel like losing people is right up there in 'things that Noct is most terrified of', especially when they're as close as Ignis is. And he is young and was brought up with Ignis catering to him utterly, of course he wouldn't want to give that up, even if he also loves Ignis as a person and not just a service.
